Who Are We?
We are Kairos Christian Outreach Centre, Peterhead, and a part of the Christian Outreach Centre International Movement of Churches.
As a church, we believe that each person is called by God and has been giving specific giftings to be used to serve Him in the church, and it is our goal to see all our members fulfilling their potential and operating in the gifts God has given them.

When people are using the gifts God has given them, church life operates far more in the way it should, and allows the church to function efficiently in doing the job God has called us to do.
It is our heart to reach those in our community who, for whatever reasons, may not necessarily be reached by others. These include drug addicts, alcoholics and those in need of freedom from addiction, abuse or other traumatic issues.
We are not your average church, and believe that church does not have to be boring, and in fact should be lively, fun and enjoyable, because we believe our God is not boring, and neither should we be! We have a dynamic Worship band made up of various instruments including drums, electric, bass and acoustic guitars, keyboards and vocalists, with others in our church learning other instruments including saxophone and violin! Our Sunday sermons are also lively, practical and relevant, and we can assure you that we're not the place for you if you want a church where you can catch up on some sleep at the Sunday service! :)

WHEN?
Our main service is on Sundays at 2.30pm. We also have various childrens, youth and adult activities weekly
What does Kairos mean?
Kairos is the Greek word for "time", or more specifically, "appointed time" or "opportune moment." Kairos time is the moment, of undetermined length, in which the eternal (God) breaks into the temporal (universe) shattering and transforming it, and preparing the temporal to receive the eternal. Kairos time usually involves a period of disruption to the normal flow of things. The old rules, methods, traditions, habits, ways of thinking and doing business do not seem to work anymore. The ground seems to be shifting. Historians and psychologists would label it a "paradigm shift" We are walking into our Kairos time - will you join us?
